A 37 year old city youth is suffering from CKD-ESRD and is registered in Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS).
Identified as Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh, he is currently undergoing hemo-dialysis at Florence Hospital with an expenditure of Rs 12000 per month.
The family of the patient is unable to bear the cost of his treatment.
Ab Razak Sheikh, father of the patient said that Manzoor was driver profession who owned an Auto rickshaw. Since he was diagnosed with this fatal kidney disease, he has been rendered jobless and remains at home.
A resident of Alochi Bagh, Srinagar, Sheikh said that he has no such source of income which can help him to treat his young but ailing son. He appealed people to help him treat his young but ailing son.
