SRINAGAR: A militant hideout was busted on Sunday during a search operation by Army and police in Khet Chaka area in Rajouri district, officials said.
“One AK assault rifle, three magazines, pistols, UBGL grenades and communication devices are among other arms and ammunition recovered by security forces during a search operation,” officials told the news agency KNO.
They said the search operation in Khet Chaka area was launched on the basis of specific information.
During searches, a militant hideout was busted and one AK rifle, 93 bullets, five UBGL grenades, communication devices and other material including pistols were recovered.
Officials said that more searches were going on in the area.
