A joint search operation led by Handwara Police and 47RR on Tuesday busted a hideout and recovered arms and ammunition in Kralsanger forest area of Handwara.
Police sources informed that a joint police party along with 47 RR launched a search operation in the Kralsanger forest area while acting on specific information.
“During the search a hideout was busted at Haran Top. One AK-47 rifle, one AK magazine, twenty AK rounds, one Chinese Pistol, One pistol magazine, five 9mm Rounds, one Radio Set with Antenna, and 3 UBGLs were recovered from the hideout,“ informed police spokesman.
