The Kashmir High Court Bar Association on Monday protested against the killing of civilians and militants in south Kashmir’s Shopain district and termed them as barbaric while demanding ‘Right to self-determination’ for Kashmiri ’s.
The lawyers, carrying banners and placards, marched outside the High court complex peacefully while chanting slogans.
The lawyers, under the High court Bar Association, tried to march towards the civil secretariat, which opened in Srinagar today. However, police foiled the march and not allowed them to move towards secretariat.
Pertinently, ten people including five civilians and four militants and Dr Mohammad Rafi were killed in Shopian area of south Kashmir on Sunday.
