Militant outfit Hizb-ul-Mujahideen claimed that it killed two Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) personnel after attacking one of the forward posts near Nilabhat Kota Sector in Poonch District on Monday morning.

Hizb Operational Spokesperson Burhanuddin told CNS on phone a special squad of Hizb targeted a BSF forward post in Poonch Sector killing two BSF personnel and injuring 7 others.

“All the injured BSF personnel are critical. The militants after carrying the attack managed to reach their destination,” the spokesperson said.

He added, “in a bid to make Line of Control irrelevant, Hizb militants will carry their attacks in future as well.”
