Militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen Tuesday paid rich tribute to one of its commanders Sajad Ahmed alias Pir Sahab who was killed during a brief gunfight with forces at Zakura on the outskirts of Srinagar on late Monday evening.
As per a statement to CNS, Hizb Deputy Commander Saifullah Khalid while addressing a meeting said that the slain militant was a religious figure and an “ardent supporter of Kashmir Freedom Struggle”. “Sajad Sahab spent most of his time in prayers and was always busy in devising strategies to foil the bids of enemies of freedom struggle.”
Saifullah Khalid said, “we have lost great Mujahid and his separation will be painful. The blood of martyrs will show its colour one day and nobody will be allowed to compromise with the sacrifices of budding youth of Kashmir.”
