A Two month course on “Personality Development” was inaugurated at Saif ud din Memorial Conference Hall of Sri Pratap College Srinagar.

Syed Humayun Qaiser, Director Radio Kashmir Srinagar was chief guest while as Sajjad Bazaz, Incharge Corporate Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility Departments of the J&K Bank was the guest of honour, an official spokesperson said this evening.

The objective of this course is to improve soft-skills including verbal and written communication skills, stage courage, and presentation skills as the parts of personality and to develop confidence in the young minds to face any interview.

In the inaugural address, the Principal of the college Dr Yaseen Ahmad Shah said that the aim and objective of the course is mainly to enhance competencies of the enrolled students in communication skills, life management, personality grooming, and basic computer skills. He said that every student should have a Specified, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time bound goal and to facilitate the learner to have so, this course is being arranged on the campus.

Sajjad Bazaz, Incharge Corporate Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility Departments of the J&K Bank, in his address congratulated the principal and the co-ordinators of the course for starting the course that can help the students to face and meet the challenges of the outside world more effectively.

Humayun Qaiser, Director Radio Kashmir Srinagar while addressing the gathering said that Personality Development is a tool through which you bring out your capabilities and your strengths making yourself aware of your inner self and become more confident to face the outside world.

Among others who spoke on the occasion were former Principal and President SP College Alumni Association, Prof Ajaz Rabbani, and Faculty in Management Studies at Central University of Kashmir Dr Farooq Shah.
