SRINAGAR: Union Home Minister Amit Shah met the family of N Ramachandran, a tourist killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in April this year.
According to BJP sources, as per Daily Excelsior, Shah met Ramachandran’s widow, Sheela, and daughter, Arathi R Menon, at a hotel where the party’s state leadership meeting was being held. The meeting took place before the BJP’s closed-door discussions began.
Party leaders said the interaction lasted for over 15 minutes, during which the Home Minister assured the family of all possible support.
Ramachandran was among several tourists who lost their lives in the attack.
