SRINAGAR: The Health and Medical Education Department has designated an inquiry officer to investigate complaints lodged against a lecturer in the Radiation Oncology department at GMC Srinagar.
According to an order, Hashmat Ali Yatoo, Administrator of Associated Hospital GMC Srinagar, has been tasked with conducting a comprehensive inquiry into the allegations made against Dr Sheikh Owais, Lecturer in the Radiation Oncology department at GMC Srinagar.
The order states, “Approval is hereby granted for the appointment of Mr. Hashmat Ali Yatto (IAS), Administrator, Associated Hospitals, Government Medical College, Srinagar, as the Inquiry Officer to conduct an in-depth investigation into the complaint(s) against Dr. Sheikh Owais Ahmad, Lecturer, Radiation Oncology, Government Medical College, Srinagar.”
The order continues, “The Inquiry Officer is required to submit the Inquiry Report, along with specific recommendations, to the Administrative Department within a span of 15 days. This report will guide the subsequent actions to be taken.” (KNO)
