Deputy speaker of Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi on Wednesday adjourned the House due to lack of quorum.
During the discussion on grants of Industries and Commerce Department, some members from the Opposition pointed out lack of quorum following which Dy Speaker counted the number of members present in the House and on finding the strength less than the mandatory he adjourned the House for 10 minutes.
The deputy speaker also told relief and rehabilitation minister Javid Mustafa Mir that government should be serious in maintaining the quorum of the House.
As only Two Ministers Javid Mustafa Mir and Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Prakash was present in the House.
