SRINAGAR: A kutcha house in ward number one of Pattangarh Panchayat, Udhampur District, Jammu and Kashmir, collapsed, resulting in the death of one person and leaving another injured.
The Udhampur ASP, Anwar Ul Haq, confirmed the event, stating, “One person has been confirmed dead, and another is injured.”
Upon receiving information about the incident, a prompt response from the police led to the evacuation of the injured individual from the debris. The injured person has been shifted to the Community Health Centre in Chenani for necessary medical attention.
A thorough investigation is underway to determine the cause of the house collapse.
