Panic gripped Parraypora area of the city on Friday after at least five labourers came under the debris of a residential house while dismantling it. Two labourers have been rescued in injured state and shifted to hospital while as efforts were on to rescue others.
Sources told Kashmir Life that the labourers were dismantling old residential house of Irfan Ahmad Kawoosa at Parraypora, near Ibrahim Masjid.
They said that the house came down at once taking at least five labourers under debris resulted in a hue and cry in the area.
Locals and the bystanders rushed for rescue and in the meantime a police party reached the spot which was busy in rescue operation till the reports last came in.
Sources said that 2 injured labourers were rescued and shifted to hospital while as rescue was on to retrieve others.
