Police in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday said that they have identified the house where Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander Zakir Rashid Bhat would record his videos before posting them on social media networks.

In a statement issued here, a police spokesperson said, “In its continuous crackdown on over ground networks of the militants, Awantipora police and 42 RR conducted an operation in Batipora Dadsara area of Tral. During the operation, a house belonging to Mudasir Ahmed Gunoo was searched where forces found material and articles used by militants.”

During the preliminary investigation, the statement added that it was also established that HM militant Zakir @ Mosa used to record videos in one of the rooms of the said house.

“Some clothes and other material used by Zakir@ Mosa in different videos and photographs were also recovered.”

Manhunt has been launched for the absconding owner. A case under FIR number 190 under different sections of RPC stand registered.

Further Investigation is going on.
