Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) General Secretary Ram Madhav has said that separatist party Hurriyat Conference cannot dictate terms on talks with the Centre and those supporting militancy and separatism would not be entertained by the Government of India.

“The Hurriyat is not in a position to dictate to the Government of India when to hold talks or when not to,” media reports quoted Madhav as saying.

Madhav added that earlier the Government made an offer to Hurriyat two year ago when Rajnath Singh was holding the position of Home Minister.” BJP even appointed and Dineshwar Sharma as special interlocutor for engaging all sections of the people of the Kashmir, but all in vain,” he said.

Madhav added that Hurriyat has no right to decide and dictate terms to the centre.
