All Parties Hurriyat Conference (JK) on Friday appealed people to observe complete shutdown on July 13 in honour of 22 martyrs of 1931.

Hurriyat Conference (JK) convener and Muslim Conference (S) Chairperson Shabir Ahmad Dar ,Mahzi Azadi President Muhammad Iqbal Mir, International Forum For Justice chief Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Young Men’s League head Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and Tehreeq-e-Istiqamat chairperson Gulam Nabi War in a joint statement appealed people to observe complete shut down on 13 July in connection to July 13, 1931 22 martyrs  who fell by the bullets of Dogra troops.

They appealed people to support Hurriyat program and “march towards martyrs graveyard Naqshband Sahib where these martyrs were buried, a statement issued by the Hurriyat faction said this evening.

In connection with mass contact program, Hurriyat JK leader and Young Men’s League Chairperson Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi today addressed people at Baramulla.

Reshi appealed people to observe complete shut down on 13 July in connection to 1931, 13 July martyrs.

He said, “13 July is a landmark day in the  history of Kashmiri freedom struggle when the Dogra troops shot dead 22 Kashmiris, one after the other, in front of Srinagar central jail.”
