The Hurriyat Conference (G) Saturday expressed serious concern over the mass transfers of female teachers of education department in Kashmir valley alleging that under a “well planned conspiracy” such a move is being implemented.
In a statement, Hurriyat (G) spokesperson said that there are reports in Kashmir that female teachers in education department are being transferred to far off places and that the amalgam has taken serious note of it.
“Kashmir is a Muslim majority place and such measures taken by the education minister Naeem Akhtar are in actual the plans the RSS. Naeem Akhtar is RSS man wearing the PDP cloak, he is trying to implement RSS agenda in Kashmir’s schools and it seems he has taken a holy dip in Ganga to implement the RSS plans in Kashmir’s schools,” spokesperson alleged.
“Reports are coming about the transfers of female teachers to the far off places and inaccessible places and such steps are nothing but a conspiracy to perturb the Muslim women further. Already the hardships being faced by the women folk are in-numerous and this new trend initiated by Akhtar has only vindicated the new policy of this government against the Muslims of Kashmir,” it said.
The Hurriyat (G) statement also condemned such actions and added that the conglomerate is keeping a close vigil over the situation.
The amalgam while taking serious notice of the inclusion of the chanting of “Vandai Mataram” in the morning assembly of the Pirpanjal region schools, transferring of the Muslim officers and harassing of pro-freedom people like Qazi Asgar, Mahmood Ahmad, Abdul Majeed, Azad Ahmad and Altaf Ahmad in Surankote Poonch, alleged that the communal forces have initiated a strong movement against the Muslims of the Jammu region and want to repeat the history of 1947 blood bath.
Hurriyat (G) cautioned that if this process doesn’t stop forthwith, it will disturb the peace and stability of whole Jammu and Kashmir and a strong reaction will come to fore in the Kashmir Valley.
