“A delegation of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) Saturday visited UNMOGIP office located at Sonawar Srinagar where they were to handover a memorandum prepared by Hurriyat Chairperson Syed Ali Geelani addressed to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon,” a Hurriyat (g) statement said this evening, “but the delegation was stopped by the police present at the gate of UNMOGIP and arrested Dr GM Ganai and Molvi Bashir Ahmad Qurashi and detained them at Ram Munshibagh police station.”
