While hailing various pro-freedom parties for coming together through the Mutahida Majlise Mashavrat, Hurriyat Conference (M) Wednesday condemned the arrests of youth by police.
According to Hurriyat (M) spokesman, an important meeting of the conglomerate was held its Rajbagh headquarters.
“Coordination, arrests of youth and detaining of resistance leaders apart from post execution situation were the main issues which came for considerations and discussion in the meeting”, the spokesman said.
“It was held in meeting that no peace could prevail in the Valley till issue of Kashmir is resolved permanently. And India should come forward showing intellectuality for resolving the Kashmir issue”, he added.
He said those who say ‘peace has prevailed in Kashmir’ are living in fool’s paradise. “Kashmir is a sensitive issue and needs to be resolved immediately to ensure peace in the sub continent”, he said.
“The establishment of Mutahida Majlise Mashavrat (MMM) came also for the consideration and discussion and it was observed that MMM establishment is a welcome step and unification is key success. It also discussed the post execution situation”.
He said the meet condemned the arrests of youth and detaining of resistance leadership at various jails and demanded their immediate release.
