On the directions of All Parties Hurriyat (M) Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, a delegation comprising Ghulam Nabi Zaki, Abdur Rashid Untoo, Ghulam Nabi Najar, Jaffar Kashmiri and Sahil Ahmed War on Tuesday visited the residence of slain Amir Hamid Lone of Chattergul Kangan in Ganderbal district who was injured during the funeral of another slain youth and later succumbed at SKIMS.

The spokesman said delegation condoled the demise of young Amir and expressed solidarity with the parents of slain youth while as APHC chairman Mirwaiz, who continues to remain under house arrest, spoke to slain Amir’s father Abdul Hameed Lone over the phone and expressed his condolence and sympathy with the family.  Mirwaiz while speaking to Amir’s father stated that the sacrifices offered by people of Kashmir would not go in vain and that the leadership and people of entire Kashmir are committed to safeguarding these sacrifices.

APHC delegation while paying rich tributes to slain Amir, stated that killings of young boys of Kashmir are unacceptable. The delegation said under a well-planned conspiracy with forces are given unbridled powers and are selectively killing young boys to push the people and resistance leadership into a submission.

Meanwhile, APHC spokesman strongly condemned the use of force against the school going students at Lolab and Sopore terming it the highhandedness of police and other forces. He said that using brute forces including tear gas on the young students including female ones reflects the frustration on part of the rulers, who have already pushed the young generation of Kashmir to the wall by blocking all means of peaceful protests.  The spokesman said that using force to disallow the student and peoples’ protest has become a routine in Kashmir which is an irony.
