Hurriyat Conference (M) has paid glowing tributes to the 125 youth including Tufail Matoo and Wamiq Farooq who were killed by ‘the Indian troops and police during the 2010 non-violent struggle for freedom in Jammu and Kashmir’.

As per a statement the Hurriyat M has said, “Such priceless sacrifices won’t be allowed to go waste at any cost, nor they would be forgotten since they represent a significant part of the blood soaked Kashmir’s history for freedom and dignity.”

The spokesman has also said, “It was highly shocking and regretting that the killers of these innocent souls were roaming free.” He said justice still waits the killed youth, majority of whom were just teenagers.

The party said that Kashmiris have offered innumerable sacrifices of their life and property since 1947 to press for the demand of right to self determination. It said that “blood of the martyrs have highlighted the Kashmir struggle globally,” adding, the APHC and Kashmiris would take their mission forward till it reaches its logical conclusion.
