Hurriyat Conference (M) has organized a week long programme on the occasion of the International Human Rights Day starting on December 10.

The week will be observed in the length and breadth of the state. He said besides other programmes five major programmes will be held in this connection. The first programme will be held in North Kashmir on 5th December 2013 in Town Hall Kupwara as Seminar Titled. “Who are buried in Mass Graves? Where are our disappeared Loved Ones?”

In a statement issued to KNS, head of Human Rights Division of All party Hurriyat Conference Syed Salim Geelani in a statement has said that  Intellectuals, members of civil society, Lawyers and people from other walks of life from the area expected to participate in the event views in the light of the above mention title.

Salim Geelani said that another seminar under the title “Disappeared Persons, Graves with Unknown bodies, custodial killings-who is responsible?” will be held in Town Hall Islamabad on Dec 7, 2013 and on 8th December another Seminar is being organized at Hurriyat Headquarters Rajbagh Srinagar.

A distinguished Personality and Chairman of Kashmir Times Publications Group Mr. Ved Bhasin will be the Chief Guest whereas Chairman APHC Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will preside over the function.

Salim said on 9th Dec a Photo exhibition will be held in the Hotel Lala Rukh Lal Chowk Srinagar whereas on 10th December a peaceful sit in headed by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will be held in Srinagar.
