Hurriyat (M) to go ahead with Pak visit

Day after Syed Ali Geelani’s decided not to visit Pakistan, Hurriyat  Conference led  by Mirwaiz  Umar Farooq , on Wednesday cleared the air, saying, it will go ahead with the visit. Hurriyat(M) demanded that Passport authorities should  issue the travel documents to the Hurriyat delegation visiting Islamabad.

“Hurriyat Conference is the real representative of the people and is going to visit Pakistan on the special invitation and is expecting good results from it,”Said a Statement of Hurriyat (M) adding that during Pakistan visit Hurriyat will get an opportunity to check the progress of the permanent resolution of Kashmir issue.

According to statement, the basic objective behind Hurriyat establishment was to resolve the Kashmir issue according to wishes and aspirations of the people under the resolutions adopted by United Nations.

“During Pakistan visit, deputation will meet with the leadership of ruling and opposition parties including various renowned personalities to check the progress in K-issue and to have considerations and exchange of opinions therein”, reads the statement.
