District Magistrate Srinagar has ordered police and security agencies to deem identity cards of employees of various essential services departments as curfew passes.
According to an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, identity cards of employees of CAPD, SMC, Radio Kashmir and Doordarshan Kendra Srinagar will be treated as curfew passes during curfew hours.
“They may be allowed to move after proper security check wherever and whenever required by Security/law enforcing “, the order reads a copy of which lies with KNS and added that the order shall remain in effect till March 25, 2013.
