Srinagar: Pitching for collective efforts to revitalize and rejuvenate the society, Mufti Tassaduq Hussain, People`s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Islamabad Lok Sabha Parliamentary constituency Saturday said that a common consensus needs to be arrived at so that this state is put back on track of progress and forward momentum.
Addressing gatherings at Kulgam and DH Pora, Tassaaduq said that society as a whole needs to work with sincerity and dedication so that all of us can collectively address the problem of inequity and economic stagnation.

“Conflict has not left anything unscathed not even hopes, dreams and ideas. Fissures and fractures have entrenched themselves intractably in our society. We need to bring back our society from the brink of abyss,” he added.
Extolling the resilience of the people in braving various odds, Tassaduq said that bonds in the society need to be cemented as the answer to all the issues have to come from the society itself.
“I come with hope, sincerity and belief in my people. I dedicate myself to the cause of up-liftment of our people which I hope will be achieved when we walk together,” Tassaduq added.
Emphasizing the burden of responsibility that befalls the youth of this state to bring about change that we all hope to see in our society, Tassaduq said that their energies and their potentialities need to be channelized effectively and efficiently so that we can realize the dream of a “Better Kashmir”.
“Youth of this state have to play a pivotal role. It’s high time that they lead from the front and become the engines of change and ripples of hope,” Tassaduq said.
