I-League: Real Kashmir FC scores another win, defeats Aizawl FC

SRINAGAR: Real Kashmir Football Club  (FC) on Wednesday registered another victory in the ongoing I-League in the match played on the synthetic turf at TRC.

Real Kashmir FC beat Aizawl FC 1-0 after Bazie Armand scored the match-winning goal in the first half of the match.

The Real Kashmir that made history by getting into the I-League has played six matches for the ongoing season. It was the third victory of Real Kashmir FC in the tournament.

They have already lost two matches and yet another match resulted without anyone emerging victorious. With today’s victory, Real Kashmir FC has climbed up to the fourth spot in the league standings with 10 points.

Real Kashmir FC lost the match to Mohan Bagan with 0:1 score. Earlier, it lost to Manipur’s Neroca FC 2:0. However, it won a match against defending champions team from Punjab, Manerva Punjab and Indian Arrows. Its match with Churchill Brothers led to a draw.

After this stunning victory over Aizawl FC football fans celebrated by bursting firecrackers. The stadium was jam-packed as usual. They supported both the teams. But some of the watchers said the Real Kashmir was in a position to score better. Real Kashmir FC is going to play their next match against Shillong Lajong which resides at the 10th spot in the league standings.
