The armies of India and Pakistan on Wednesday evening traded heavy shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Reports said that the armies exchanged massive shelling near Nanak post Kamalkote and Rani Shanker post sectors of the Uri around 5.30 pm triggering panic and fear among the residents.

Earlier two army men were injured in cross LoC firing in Kamalkote sector of Uri.
