SRINAGAR: Real Kashmir FC defeated Sreenidi Deccan FC of Andra Pradesh by 2-1 in the Hero I-league at the picturesque TRC stadium in Srinagar.

Asheer Akhter of Sreenidi Deccan FC scored the first goal from the center of the box in the 12th minute, which gave a lead of 1-0 to the Andhra team.

Ibrahim Nurudeen of Real Kashmir FC got various chances throughout the game but could manage to score an equalizer only in the 61st minute, converting a penalty with a right-footed shot to the center of the goal.

Ibrahim Nurudeen scored the second goal during the extra time in the second half of the game through a right-footed shot from the center of the box, giving a lead of 2-1 to Real Kashmir against Sreenidi Deccan FC.

Both teams have played only once in the previous I-league season, which ended up with a draw of 1-1.

This was Real Kashmir’s Sixth game this season and remained unbeaten in all. In the previous five matches, Real Kashmir FC recorded four wins against Neroca FC (1-0), Rajasthan United FC (2-0), Churchill Brothers FC Goa (1-0), TRAU FC (3-2), and a goalless draw against Gokulam Kerala FC.

Real Kashmir FC will play their next match on December 12, against RKFC (Round Glass Punjab FC) while Sreenidi Deccan FC will play on December 11, against Aizawl FC.
