SRINAGAR: A chopper of the Indian Air Force on Friday made an emergency landing at the football ground in Purmandal area of Samba district in Jammu and Kashmir after it developed some technical error.

Defence sources said that the chopper was on routine patrolling when it developed a snag and was forced to make an emergency landing as preventive measure this afternoon in Pumandal here.

“Five-member crew was in the chopper, and all are safe,” sources said adding that the chopper took off after a brief halt. (KINS)
