SRINAGAR: IAS officer Pallavi Mishra, who previously served in Jammu and Kashmir, has been given additional charge of Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development), Amritsar, by the Punjab Government.
Mishra, who is currently serving as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Amritsar, will hold the additional charge of ADC (Rural Development), Amritsar, according to the Punjab Government’s order.
A 2023-batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Punjab cadre, Mishra was recently transferred from the AGMUT cadre to Punjab following approval of an inter-cadre transfer on marriage grounds under the IAS Cadre Rules, 1954.
Before her inter-cadre transfer, Mishra served as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Marh, in Jammu and Kashmir. She had also served as an Assistant Collector in Goa during her tenure in the AGMUT cadre.
Mishra secured All India Rank 73 in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination 2022 on her second attempt.
She is a law graduate of the National Law University, Delhi, and had Law as her optional subject in the civil services examination.
