Athar Amir-ul-Shafi Khan, who recently secured second rank in the IAS examination, on Wednesday interacted with students and scholars at the University of Kashmir.

The interaction session was organized by the Department of History. Khan shared his experiences with students and advised them to believe in their potential and approach the Civil Services Examination with an open mind, discipline and also follow a consistent approach of study. He underlined the significance of intensive and extensive study and cautioned students “not to get distracted on internet” and emphasized upon its judicious use.

Head of History Department, Prof M Y Ganai, and Controller Board of Professional Entrance Examination, Prof Farooq Ahmad Mir were, among others, present on the occasion.
