Democratic Party Nationalist chairman Ghulam Hassan Mir Wednesday said that the people in Kashmir feel dis-empowered after the PDP-BJP government took over.Ghulam-Hassan-Mir

“People in Kashmir feel dis-empowered after the PDP-BJP coalition took over and the already existing trust deficit between New Delhi and Kashmir has further increased,” Mir told KNS.

The former minister said that the recent controversial issues like Sainik colony, NEET, industrial policy, Handwara killings have created dissatisfaction among the people with on the government.

“These controversial issues and the statements following it have created uncertainty and dissatisfaction among the people here. And people feel disempowered,” Mir said.

“PDP-led coalition should think why Kashmiris feel disempowered and disappointed. It is the responsibility of the PDP leadership to not to take wrong steps to vitiate the atmosphere in the Valley,” he said, adding that the PDP leadership cannot evade public responsibility.
