‘Initiative for Competition Promotion’ (ICP) J&K on Sunday conducted screening test of candidates for its “free residential coaching program for Civil Services Exam- 2020” at Abdul Ahad Azad  Memorial Degree College Bemina, Srinagar.

Hundreds of aspirants from different districts including from Jammu division appeared in screening test. The results of the written test are expected to be released in 10 days.

At least 35 candidates shall be selected for the annual residential coaching program.

During the programme, the selected candidates will be provided free lodging and 24*27 fully equipped library facility.  Coaching program shall include classes on General Studies, CSAT and selected optional papers. A test series, answer evaluation and essay writing practice shall form part of the program.

At the event, Abdul Gani Mir, IPS, ADGP and Patron of ICPJK interacted with the civil service aspirants.

He said, “in this era of competition, excellence, hard work and dedication is the only way to succeed in civil services”. Emphasizing that getting into the civil service and occupying the power spaces in the system is the best way for individual and collective empowerment, he said that the youth of the state should strive to take their due share in the All India Services and be part of the planning and development of the state and country.

Abdul Waheed Shah, KPS, Aziz Ahmad Rather, KAS and Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, KAS, founder Trustees of ICPJK also interacted with students. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Tariq Ahmad Chalkoo asked the participants to grab all the opportunities and creatively use the platforms like ICP to get into the state and central civil services.

ICP expressed its sincere gratitude to the college principal and college staff for their cooperation. ICPJK is a registered trust preparing civil services aspirants for examination.
