The traffic movement on Mendhar-Poonch road was restored today after its day-long suspension due to a suspicious object (IED) which was lying near a culvert at KG Top road.
Reports said that the team of forces found a steel box with a wired system lying near a culvert at KG Top road, following which road was closed for traffic.
However, this morning the Bomb Disposal Squad destroyed the device without causing any damage to anything and traffic was restored on the thoroughfare.
