Inspector General of police, Kashmir Abdul Ghani Mir Friday, held a security review meeting at District headquarters, Pulwama. The review meeting was attended by Deputy Inspector General of Police South Vijay Kumar, SSP Islamabad R K Jalla, SP Pulwama Amit Kumar, SP Shopian Mumtaz , SP Awantipora, Abdul Waheed Shah and jurisdictional Dy SPs.
During the meeting, various security issues and over all law and order situation of the south Kashmir was discussed thread bare. The IGP enjoined upon the police force to synergies their efforts in developing robust public relations. He directed the officers to keep a crime under check and redress the problems of the complainants within shortest possible time.
He also listened to the suggestions and the various difficulties faced by the force personnel and assured that their problems will be solved.
