In southern district of Pulwama unidentified gunmen shot dead a man outside a mosque on late Friday.
Police sources told Kashmir Life that Mudassir Ahmad Mir, 32, son of Ghulam Ahmad Mir resident of Lassipora was Imam of the mosque and when he came out last night after the Isha prayers, he was shot at a very close range resulting in his on spot death.
Unidentified gunmen had earlier shot and killed a police officer Farooq Ahmad in Pulwama town.
