The film shooting of Imtiaz Ali’s Highway has been going on for the last three days in a dense forest about 2km away from Aru Valley to the north of Pahalgam.
Being filmed in what is known as the Brian Gujar Basti which is home to the shepherd community in the region, the track required at least 50 personnel of the Jammu & Kashmir Police to pitch in.
It’s been a while now since Imtiaz and his team have been shooting Highway across the length and breadth of the country. They are currently scouting the Northern states.
