SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday declared that Operation Sindoor stands as a living example of India’s military and strategic strength, asserting that “every inch of Pakistan’s land is today the target of our brave soldiers” and warning that any future misadventure by the neighbouring country “will not survive.”
Addressing troops during his visit to forward areas in the Poonch and Nowshera sectors, the Lieutenant Governor said that the successful execution of Operation Sindoor within just 23 minutes had brought the masterminds of terrorism in Pakistan “to their knees” and drawn a new red line in India’s counter-terrorism strategy.
“If they raise their eyes again towards Mother India, not a single area of theirs would remain untouched by punishment,” he added, praising the soldiers’ courage and swift response.
He described the operation as a decisive victory for Bharat and saluted the “indomitable courage, invincible power, and gallantry” of the armed forces that dismantled multiple terror bases across the border.
“Dharma has won and Adharma has surrendered before your weapons and might. I am proud that in just a few days our brave soldiers broke the back of the enemy,” LG Sinha said, noting that the entire nation of 140 crore people stands united in admiration of their sacrifice and service.
The Lieutenant Governor also reviewed the overall security situation along the border, commending the forces for maintaining vigilance and responding firmly to cross-border threats. The visit follows India’s pre-emptive military strikes under Operation Sindoor, launched in retaliation to the recent Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed multiple civilian lives.
The operation, which reportedly targeted and destroyed several terror camps inside Pakistan, has since been projected as a strategic shift in India’s doctrine on counter-terrorism, with greater emphasis on pre-emptive and punitive measures.
