For the first time since the PDP-BJP government was formed in J&K, Indian Prime Minister and J&K Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had official meeting on Tuesday in New Delhi.

The meeting comes in the backdrop of reports of expansion of union cabinet. Reports say PDP may join NDA in Union government after which Mufti’s party may get a ministry in the Modi cabinet.

Post Modi meeting, Mufti met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, as well.

“Mufti briefed him about the law and order situation in the state in view of the recent attacks on armed forces,” sources said.

Development of Jammu and Kashmir in mind, CM Mufti shall meet all prominent cabinet ministers.
