Post Scribe Heart Attack, State Assembly Adjourns

State legislature was Tuesday adjourned when a journalist was rushed to hospital after he collapsed inside the business hall of legislature. He was covering ongoing session.

Shyam Sunder, a camera person for Take 1 network, collapsed in his chair inside the press gallery of the state assembly and was immediately rushed to hospital.

“Speaker Kavinder Gupta adjourned the house for ten minutes, asking members to pray for the speedy recovery of the journalist,” reports said.

“Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh advised doctors at the super specialty Jammu Medical College Hospital to inform whether the journalist needs to be shifted outside the state for treatment, costs for which would be borne by the state government,” the added.
