In Dubai, Zulfkar asks UAE’s Corporate Sector to Reserve Jobs for JK Youth




Appealing business leaders of Gulf countries to invest in Jammu & Kashmir, Minister for CAPD & Tribal Affairs Choudhary Zulfkar Ali has appealed corporate heads of UAE to reserve jobs for the trained youth of J&K in UAE.

After addressing International Conference on Religion and Peace organized by Markazu Saqafathi Sunniyya Al Islamiya – Dubai at the International Theatre Abu Dhabi & Dubai, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali interacted with the Indian society and business tycoons of UAE at Hotel Flora Creek Dubai. During the interaction Zulfkar urged them to come and invest in Jammu & Kashmir, an official spokesperson said Saturday evening.

He told corporate heads of UAE to visit J&K and initiate the process of investment in the State and help Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in his initiative to bring peace, prosperity to the state.  He said that Arab world must come forward and help develop J&K. He appealed Arab leaders to send delegations of business leaders to Jammu & Kashmir and help the State develop by investing there.

“Showing concern on the issue of unemployment in J&K, Minister requested corporate heads of UAE to reserve jobs in their companies for the trained youth of the State,” the statement said. “We have vibrant trained youths in our state but we are facing the issue of unemployment due to lack of opportunities,” Minister said.

He also invited renowned personality and patron of Markazi University Kerala, Sheikh Abu Baker, dignitaries of UAE including Yousaf Ali, MD Lulu Murt and Managing Director of Flora Group of Hotels, A V Hasan, to visit J&K and help the State move forward towards prosperity.

Minister especially thanked patron of Markazi University Kerala, Sheikh Abu Baker for their efforts in providing relief to the people of Poonch post 2014 floods.

The Minister was given a warm reception at Dubai and Abu Dhabi by the Indian Society and members of Markazu Saqafathi Sunniyya Al Islamiyya – Dubai and Markazi University.
