Even though four hours are yet left to cast ballot in Kashmir, Amira Kadal assembly constituency has crossed the overall 2008 polling percentage mark only up to 12:00 O’ Clock.
In 2008, Amira Kadal assembly constituency witnessed overall 14.98 percent of votes but this time, up to 12:00 the polling mark crossed 15 percent.
Amira Kadal constituency which includes Srinagar’s major business hub Lal Chowk, erstwhile posh areas of Rajbagh, Jawahar Nagar, the contest here is face to face between PDP’s Syed Altaf Bukhari and incumbent NC MLA Nasir Sogami.
