Army opened fire on Friday in North Kashmir’s Nutnussa area of Kupwara in which four persons were injured.

Police sources said that three of the four injured have been referred to Srinagar for treatment. Sources in SKIMS said that the injured have been admitted in emergency ward of the hospital.

People were protesting against four civilian killings.

Reports said that protests erupted after Friday congregational prayers in Nutnussa area today. They were raised pro-freedom and anti-India protests in the area.

Army men of 47RR opened fire on protesters, reports said.
