Even though entire leadership of NC and Congress is campaigning in the region, PDP claimed many Congressmen joined the party.
A party statement identified the Congressman as Khafil Ahmed Khan. He had earlier deserted PDP for Congress and now he returned.
Party statement said those who accompanied him into the party included lawyers Ishtaq Hussain, Sajjad Choudhary, Wasim Khan, Mansoor Ahmed Khan, Rizwan Ahmed Khan, Zahid Hussain Khan and Zahid Khan.
PDP has fielded Yash Pal Sharma for Jammu-Poonch seat.
