A man was injured and two goats were killed by a bear in Baramulla while a dead body was found in Drung Nalla Tangmarg, apolice statement said on Saturday.
A bear attacked and injured Mohammad Yousuf Bara son of Lala Bara resident of Bagna Salamabad, Bijhama at Hydernar Bagna. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Baramulla for treatment. In the same village two goats of Ahmad Din Batti son of Bula Batti resident of Bagna were killed by the same bear.
Meanwhile a body was found floating in Drung Nalla Tangmarg and was retrieved by police. The body was later on identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Reshi, son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Treran Tangmarg. He was missing since 29-07-2014. The said person was reportedly mentally challenged. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
