SRINAGAR: The twin district of Rajouri and Poonch have exhibited and interesting pattern in the DDC polls. While the Poonch stands dominated by imndepende4nts, the Rajouri has given a better mandate to a variety of parties with a focus on the PAGD and the like-minded.

Though the final results for all the seats are yet to be declared, the trends suggest that in Poonch as many as eight candidates are going to win.  They have left two berths for NC and four for Congress.

In the neighbouring Rajourim however, only two independents have won. NC is eventually winning from four seats, followed by three each by BJP and Congress. PDP and Apni Party will have one seat each.
