SRINAGAR: The armies of India and Pakistan on Monday again exchanged fire along the Line of Control in Balakote sector of district Poonch in Jammu division.
An official said that the Pakistan army opened fire along LoC at 10:15 am in Balakote sector of district Poonch.
“The soldiers manning the fence also responded the fire strongly,” he said. However, there were no immediate reports of any damage from either side.
He said that Pakistan had on Sunday exchanged fire along LoC by small arms firing and shelling with mortars in Shahpur, Kirni and Krishna Ghati sectors of Poonch district.
