The armies of India and Pakistan Wednesday exchanged fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Reports quoting sources said the Pakistani Army resorted to “unprovoked firing” at Indian positions on the LoC around 3 am.

“Indian troops retaliated effectively. Intermittent firing exchanges continued between the two sides till 7 am.,” reports quoting sources said.
