SRINAGAR: The armies of India and Pakistan on Friday exchanged fire along the Line of Control in Hajipeer sector in Uri town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official said that the Pakistan army opened by small arms along LoC in Hajipeer sector of Uri town.
“The soldiers manning the fence also responded the fire strongly,” he said. However, there were no immediate reports of any damage from either side, he added.
When last reports came in the firing was going on.
