SRINAGAR
In wake of recent outrage and anger against army over the controversial “human shield” video in Kashmir, army Chief General Bipin Rawat Sunday apprised National Security Advisor Ajit Doval of the security situation in Kashmir.
The two discussed the emerging and complete security situation in Kashmir, officials said.
Earlier on Saturday General Rawat met governor N N Vohra and chief minister Mehbooba Mufti.
According to reports, Gen Rawat has assured Mehbooba of timely action against the men who were responsible for the act of tying the man to the vehicle at Budgam.
