SRINAGAR: The Indian Embassy in Tehran on Wednesday issued a renewed advisory asking all Indian nationals currently in Iran to leave the country at the earliest amid evolving developments.

In its April 8 advisory, the Embassy said the directive follows its earlier communication dated April 7, 2026, and stressed that Indians still in Iran should exit promptly in coordination with Embassy officials and through designated routes.
The Embassy also cautioned citizens against attempting to reach any international land border without prior consultation and coordination.
